E4 got a little overzealous with censoring product mentions. They cut out the phrase “ships today” from the phrase “… Kindle 2 ships today” (twice), blurred the Amazon logo from the screen behind Bezos, and even went so far as to blur the “.com” in “Amazon.com” when his title was shown on screen.</p> <p>Channel 4 does stuff like this all the time, and it’s always clumsy, always noticeable, and always ruins whatever I’m watching. I’ve watched sitcoms on Channel 4 in the morning, and they’ve cut so many individual words and phrases out of certain scenes that the scene just doesn’t make sense any more and it would have been better to just cut the whole thing.
